Mark Kern has handed the Petition over to Fedex for printing.

The video he is preparing will be ready on Monday. In the video, Mark Kern will be reading an open letter to Blizzard.

Thanks for the update, usually I'm looking forward to the weekends, but now I'm looking forward to Monday? wtf.....

The idea behind it is to attract the attention of the news and the mass media. A picture of a guy handing a pendrive to another guy would not be very powerful to get the attention of anybody. A picture of a lot of boxes with the printed comments however...

Right now this is known by a very specific group of people in the Internet. After that picture however, this could be known by a much larger group of people. It is a smart move that will practically force Blizzard to, at least, make some sort of public statement about the topic.

Mark Kern is an industry insider and expert in dealing with the PR ppl. According to him, the best PR's happen on Mondays and the worst on Fridays.

I find it very funny how the printing is holding the petition back

Petition Update:

Mark Kern will upload the video on Monday, 25 April 2016, (in which he will be addressing a public letter to Mike Morhaime) and he will also be sending the Petition (all 11,000 pages+ of it) to Blizzard on the same day.

The delay is probably for the best to be honest. I would much rather have Mike presented with all of this on a Monday instead of a Friday since it prevents an entire weekend for him to "stew" over it all. In a way, this kind of puts more pressure on him to at least address the issue in a much quicker fashion.

It is also nice because it will allow for the petition to gain more signatures by Monday. I could easily see it hitting 250k by Monday and potentially 300k if some more Twitch streamers do a promotion on the issue. Even though it is only 50k more signatures, it sounds more powerful saying "a quarter of a million" people want this than 200k.

Well that gives till Monday to get 250k. Because it's fun to say quarter of a million.

It is more of a psychological thing more-so than it being considered a fun thing to say. Either way, it gives Mark a little more time to prepare.
