I'm telling you guys.. its been months and nothing has happened with vanilla servers, something is up with nostalrius

either blizzard is (maybe paying) nostalrius to shut up and tell the community lies, or waiting for the whole story to be forgotten..

Or Nostalrius just did everything they could in this matter.
Blizz can't make a decision in such a short amount of time.


We'll probably hear something about Legacy-Realms at Blizzcon, and MIGHT see them in 2017. Again, we need to be patient now and not ruin this opportunity by insulting each other and pointing fingers at someone.

It's is ridiculous, the ones who forged wow what is it today are being shafted. Not allowing us to play vanilla when that's what we grew up with and still would love to play. I didn't care for any of the expansions. They slowly ruined wow for me. I'd def play vanilla again over all the other garbage that's out today. I cannot stand how much handholding wows turned into... This game should be difficult and players should have to master their classes rather than face roll a keyboard... They're giving each class their own weapons now.. I remember how hard id work to obtain a new weapon and HOW REWARDING it was to finally get it. If they had any clue they'd just release new tier black smithing patterns that were close to par with new tier raiding weapons as a fix. when a new tier is released in a patch. Than new crafting patterns would be updated as well. Now we have millions of ashbringers? Because that makes sense.. gear in pvp should still matter... Anyone can obtain the gear. I was casual in wow vanilla and my shaman was still decked out. It's the players fault they didn't put the effort into becoming more powerful. If they want handouts make them go to another mmo...

They spent a lot of their own time and money putting together a presentation. They took time away from their work, families, LIVES, to go to Blizzard HQ. They gathered and presented data from the survey they created. They had a meeting that lasted FIVE hours instead of two, and even ended up getting some of the Blizz hanchos to play on Nost and get their nostalgia going. They've done way more than most people would...

Everyone wishes we could still play, but we can't right now. It's going to take time. If you can't find the patience then the only other choice is to go to some other (most likely half-assed or p2w) private server.
