If the server crashes, the login servers are under tremendous strain when over 12k+ players try to get back at the same time. Each second a number of players successfully get in but it is impossible to make a system for everyone to get back instantly. If you are unlucky, you will get disconnected multiple times until the login server can process you. There is nothing you can do but wait.

Note that this only applies after a total server crash - there are other reasons why an individual player might suffer from login issues. Please post in the Support forum.
