The only "positive" thing I can see is that they are listening - The irony of the "Youthinkyoudobutyoudont" guy making the official statement is quite interesting by it self.

On the topic of their "Pristine" realm

They would need to implement -
Old naxx 40
ZG in the original form
All the quest chains (Onyxia)
Outdoor dragons
Item Lvl? needs to be dewamped
Mounts at a higher cost ( E.I No Flying)
No Cross realm, no phasing
Need to bring back a world that is connected - you have to go somewhere and change areas
Things being hard, rep takes time, skilling thing, farming for enchants and other things.

You see where i am going - I am in no way or shape interested in playing the new game they are planning for.
I glad to hear that Nostalrius(staff) is in a positive dialog about the whole thing, that will give them a good CV and future - they are the future of gaming. However seeing this post and blizzard narrative they will not be able to get a Vanilla "Retail-old-Blizz-like" server back.
Also think about it, if they are in a dialog, they will not release the server core or data as promised. Because that will set back everything in terms of negotiations.

Pristine realms are a big no for me. In order to even come close to the experience they would need to cut out Outland, Northrend, Pandaland, Draenor and cap levels at 60. Make everything brutally hard and rearrange talent systems.

AND BLIZZARD COMPLAINS THAT MANAGING A 1.12.1 REALM IS HARD?!

Can't they just do like all other private servers? Just host some freakin servers on the 1.12.1-client like they do with Alpha/Beta test realms.

I guess i'll just roll on kronos2 in the meantime cause with these sort of morons that are running wow nowadays there is a better chance that corecraft gets released before blizz makes legacy servers.

Don't forget that pretty much every vanilla dungeon was cut up and rehashed. Rooms removed, mobs removed, etc. So all of those would have to be reverted.

I've been a lurker here for some time, but this post finally prompted me to make an account because I am mad as hell. This is YET AGAIN another instance of Blizzard ignoring the community & doing whatever the hell it feels its entitled to.

To hell with pristine servers. The community has been asking for progression based legacy servers. We want vanilla, untainted by the current Blizzard dev teams incompetence. No cash shop/microtransactions, no hand holding easy mode, no garrison bullsh*t etc.

All the community wants is to play the game WE F*CKING PAID FOR 10+ years ago in its original state, and we are even willing to pay a subscription fee to do so. We do not want you adding your "polish" to make said server pristine Blizzard.

Also, could J Allen Brack been more snide in his delivery? Blizzard has wanted this for years? Oh really, then what about "You think you do but you don't."???

Its no coincidence that this was released the same day Mark Kern/Sodapop are about to release their video regarding the petition. Me & everyone I know will be boycotting the Warcraft movie & Legion if Blizzard decides this is how the community has to play their game.

GUYS! I told you! Didn't I ? If any1 of you remember my "Goood Feeling". IT HAS HAPPENED )))))))))))))!
I am so happy guys. I am such a big Waracraft/WoW Fan. I have all of them books! I love WoW!

And now, about some things:

1.At the end of this month: Nostalrius won't release their source code since they are in contant with Blizzard.

2.The "Pristine Servers" - I'd love to play on them, IF they make some changes: difficulties (mobs/bosses/radis etc) as they were in vanilla; not being able to kill 10 mobs solo; make the game more balanced - change some talents/abilites etc. LISTEN - the game (vanilla in the state that it is right now) is IMBALANCED! For example: ROGUES? Fck em! I can't beat them if I am not gonna drink a lot of potions, etc + they can keep you perma-stun and shi*T and you can't do anything to stop that! But it's not just the case. Some classes waste a lot of mana just to kill one mob - for example : leveling a priest is like a "horror movie". Also: they should keep the talent trees, etc but of course, change them. For example: I am playing as an ehnhancement shaman: do you know how fu*ked the enhancement talent tree is? I have TANK-ish "talents" that I dont need and that none of the shammys need. Also: enhancement shamans in the curren state of vanilla wow are useless in raids... So yeah I AM UP for those Pristine Servers if they could make things balanced!

So yeah, i'd like to play on "Pristine Servers" with cap lvl 60 and some changes. It'd be soo GOOD!

Here's to hoping that the Nost Team doesn't bend the knee and go along with this ludicrous "pristine" idea which sounds to me as if it's a Legion build, but with a filter on it.
