Some retail server have the same amount of players.

Its obvious that you aren`t vanilla player. They made the cap of ther vanilla servers 2.5-3k coz of reason.

I really dont need to argue with you about my vanilla experience, but in my eyes my old servers (Aegwynn and Frostwolf) had a higher population in the past than 2.5-3k !

Yes with the expansions but there NEVER was and i repeat NEVER a server on retail during vanilla days with this amount of players.

I mean i had somedays a waiting queue for 6-7h to join frostwolf. So how do you know the real cap from the past?

Retail had battlegroups cross realm but every single realm did not have more than ~3k. This would be a great solution on Nost too.

As somene said. The lag/delay will be fixed. But the population is going to be the biggest problem. All 60lvl regions will be overcrowded. So .. its GG Nostalrius Keep streeming guys Keep advertise the server in chinese web sites. Soon the pop. will be over 15k. Then the ppl will leave or reroll on the PvE server.

The queue-system might make some people leave too. Some people would rather play with lag than wait in a queue and vice versa.

People won't quit because they believe the guy next to them will and thus solve the lag. Lag won't go away men
