Playing on Kronos and so far everything seems nice. Many nost players already rerolled there. Population is already approaching like 5k.

And how do you know? They turned off the ability to query the whole pop.

https://vanilla.re is looking like a better option than Kronos imo. Kronos is like a nerfed version of Nost. Not fun. These guys are rapidly gathering players, and seem to have the honest intent of picking up exactly where Nost left off. I am sure they cant do it alone though, so anyone who can help should offer to. Their forums are already getting pretty active. Ive already reconnected with some guildies over there and its been great. Fingers crossed!!

We use a mod called Censusplus to see how many players online at each level / what races & classes etc.

Currently 2600+ players strong horde side on Kronos atm. About the same on alliance.

Nostalgeek is a little french server (x1 xp, 1.12), created in 2009, and many bugs of nostalrius are already fixed there (Windfury for example).
I think it can be a good choice !

That server is still dead I just recently checked, and it's not rapidly gaining players lol.

Kronos is the server that's rapidly growing as we speak with majority of Nost player base joining.

Naw, you have yet to prove you have a credible staff that has some professionalism. I'd rather be patient and wait this out. There are way too many one's claiming to carry onward and have little to show they have the experience to do so. I'm not ready to ask 40 of my mates to jump on some random ass server. The whole act of "hey, it looks like a nice server!" is completely ridiculous at this point.

I think it would be wise to gather the various GM's/Officers from various guilds to decide on where to head next. We all seriously need to think this out and make a good decision. Personally, I don't want make a mistake of wasting our time on some server that didn't have the experience in the first place.

Why would I start up on Kronos when Daemon has talked about releasing source code and player data? The key to this entire nonsense is patience.

I tried Kronos last night. Tons of lowbies around, clearly migrating from Nost in big numbers.

The server itself worked fine with no script problems or lag (I only leveled to 4 or so in Teldrasill) but I checked their site and saw a few major issues.

1) The economy is really messed up because most players are higher level. The reason for this is they used to have a 7x experience rate, so the 60s vastly outnumber the 30s/40s etc. I saw pretty much zero people in the big towns I checked from levels 20-59. They were almost all lowbies or 60s. These players naturally will have way more gold and resources... so until you have a 60 there, you'll be flat broke in comparison. Luckily the huge population boost will bring the lower level people back, but it's still busted and most of those people didn't "earn" their 60 I'd guess in the same way you'll have to / Nos was...

2) You can buy/sell characters on the auction house via Donations. So those boosted 60s are for sale if you want. Yippy =/

3) The forum seems WAY less polished and their web site is awful in comparison. It doesn't feel anything like Nos.
