seriously upsetting. i REALLY gave blizz the benefit of the doubt as far as announcing it. if they dont address it with a REAL answer soon i hope nost relaunches. its been a nice break from the hardcore grind, but im chomping at the bit to start playing again.

Good thing about this announcement is how much blizzard's post have get negative feedback even their own forums. Marketing perspective looks like they don't want catch masses of nostalrius T-shirts in the event. Even by mistake. Perfect timing to nullify the shirt campaign and control the conversation.

Russian here. About this “Russian re-launch”. What do you think folks Russia is some kind of pirate haven? Roskomnadzor (Communications Control Committee of Russia) banns torrent trackers and other illegal sites left and right. They just banned Rutracker and Rutor you know.

Anyways, if Nost will host server in Russia I hope current team will somehow retain full control over it.

Also there are some hugely popular private servers in Russia that actually charge a subscription fee.

Valkyrie has been up for almost 12 years AFAIK. The guy who runs it is a really nice guy.

If Nostalrius would like info about the Russian scene, they should contact him.
