Guys just relax. Multiple pserver operators have offered their help, it's up to the staff what they do now.

Valkyrie is dead. Rebirth low pop, kronos can't handle more than 3k and they have servers in Sweden and it's not blizzlike = europe = like Nostalrius in France = shutdown.

Sweden is one one the most secure places to host servers like this. The laws of interllectual properties wary alot in EU. The Pirate Bay is hosted in Sweden for instance.

That is not something that has been stated, a small minority of the staff is legallly pursued and should probably not engage in a continuation of the server if they want to drop their charges.

However a great portion of the staff doesn't want to let the project go and I'm sure they would be happy to follow when the community finds a way to migrate the server succesfully to another host.

As to the legitimicy of running a private server in Finland i can't say much about it, has there been any copyright-infringement claims of blizzard in the past for finnish servers?
- In the end even if there was such a thing, Nostalrius upped the numbers and definitely has become a sizeable "company" taking away business opportunity - with copyright material.
So the case stands pretty sound in any court of any civilized nation.

Sorry to burst the bubble here, I wish there was an opportunity for this server to survive. But in the end I'm quite sure that any future host of Nostalrius can be convicted.
If this is however something you aren't afraid of, as stated by the reddit OP - then you may be able to carry the server to Naxxramas before it has to be shutdown.

Why any individual would take that upon himself is beyond me, but you certainly would be a hero.
