Vanilla co-creator Mark Kern makes a 200k petition promise

The mainstream wow player is most definetly a newcomer or extreme casual leftover from vanilla/tbc who never did any end game content in either of those expansions. I personally couldn't care less about convenience of LFG and LFR, they are the cancer.

The problem is *Not* the casual or new people, its WOW Devs wanting everything for everyone.

Casuals had no issue not being able to do Vanilla NAxx or Sunwell which less than 1% of the population saw, let alone completed. Casuals had their game aside from raiding, it was tradeskills, hard dungeons, easy and fun starter raids, etc. When wow had 12m subs during TBC-LK some of the best raiding and casuals were in the game to a larger total number than today. Sad thing is Devs didn't realize when you remove something to fight for, to be proud of even casuals will leave.

I never saw Naxx when I played in retail Vanilla. That fact never bothered me. Actually, I think it was a good thing, knowing that there were even grander adventures that I could pursue. Everyone having access to all content just ends up with a bunch of people saying.... "okay, been there done that, I beat the game" /unsub

I know of one "celebrity," who played WoW at least through BC. George Fisher is/was(?) part of the band Cannibal Corpse. He used to be a very avid WoW player with several max level characters, primarily Undead (obv). Maybe we could reach out to him and see if he would even be willing to play WoW on legacy.

I even met one man at my job, quite famous Horse Jumping Rider who's playing WoW atm.
