I love when people get banned for exploiting stupid shit to get a small advantage in this already ridiculously easy game.

I played WoW extensively, but I'm now molded by Darkfall. Something 99.99999999999999999% of you people wouldn't last a second in.

This thread isn't meant for you to spread your feces arround about what you love, noone cares about your game experience or what your opinion is on people that get world buffs, your posts are getting increasingly more off-topic because there is nothing you can say that is derived from rational behaviour because like you admit you take joy and "Love" when people are banned due to nostalrius terrible account punishment policies.

Pottu, if there are posts which deserve an off-topic it's this persons, so I would appreciate if for once you could moderate the thread so that only discussion pertaining to this subject is allowed, and not personal opinions and blogposts from biased persons.

Had anyone known that collecting songflowers like the way they were collected in retail with blizzlike scripting was an infraction that could result in the banning of our accounts - I don't think anyone would have broken the rules.

Had anyone known that mining in silithus was a major exploit instead of retail mine scripting - I don't think anyone would have broken the rules

Had anyone known that queueing AV with the ingame API like it was possible in retail was major exploitation - I don't think anyone would do it

Notice that these are all difference than the successive collection of bugged nodes like what happened a few months back, that was a clear and obvious not blizzlike and bug exploitation.

There was nothing that could indicate in the first 3 situations above that they were considered bug abuse by nostalrius staff, no communication was done prior to the punishments, nostalrius staff position regarding bans has always been Punish first -> declare it was an infraction after, and that's what we are trying to fight, noone is playing the innocent card, we are simply questioning the validity of these bans and the nostalrius banning policy

Every single post I've made has been on topic. You just don't like my opinions on this matter.

You just can't handle the fact that these players have had MULTIPLE warnings for their repeated abuses of bugs/exploits. If they've been abusing other exploits, it's even worse and the ban has even more merit. You have absolutely no way of proving these players were not warned prior to this incident.

I take IMMENSE joy when I see people who blatantly abuse bugs/exploits get banned. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if something you're doing might not be allowed or is against the rules.

People who abuse bugs/exploits for their own gain deserve the punishment. It seems like in this case, these particular players have been warned multiple times, on multiple different instances of exploiting and it finally caught up to them.

I would be willing to bet that many hundreds if not thousands of players have multi-buffed songflowers at this point, including 20-40 man raids, especially on horde-side where its a very short flight from the Org Onyxia buffs.

Multi-buffing songflowers is 100% blizzlike. This was possible in vanilla retail and was used by all the top raiding guilds, particularly in late AQ40 & Naxx progression. I did this myself on retail. I had no idea that this action was even considered an exploit, much less a MAJOR exploit worthy of a no-warning permanent ban.

Ohh that reminds me too. In retail it was not possible to get Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer buff if both the Ony & Nefarian heads were up in Stormwind/Org. So does this mean that anyone who turns in the head quest while both heads are up is guilty of a MAJOR exploit? That could definitely be considered a non-blizzlike exploit which gives a major advantage to a raid.

Of course the Nostalrius staff will never tell us if this is an exploit, and we'll only find out after someone gets banned for it

you realize NOONE was warned that this was an exploit, this was common behaviour amongst good raiding guilds for 1 year on this server and not once did the administration pronounce itself or warn anyone that this was an infraction, like already told you in the last 10 posts, but your cognitive dissonance is stopping your from accept this reality.

Like we already stated, Moo had one warning due to an already controversial inciding from AV release (Of which you have zero idea what it is but you still label it has major exploitation and game advantage, even though it was the EXACT same situation has the songflower incident), Slipry had zero warnings on his warrior account and ranalape had 0 warnings on his account aswell. But of course the nostalrius administration will not admit to this or present any proof that they were indeed warned, we obviously have no way to prove that they had zero warnings on their account aswell since we aren't GMs, but we can all obviously agree, that receiving punishments for an infraction that NOBODY knew was an infraction, was blizzlike scripted, and has been happening since 1 year server release by many raiding guilds and random persons is WRONG.

Even if they had warnings on their accounts, NOBODY on the community was warned that the picking of songflowers or tubbers with multiple people was an infraction and that is the reason that they are banned in the first place, made an example out of for reasons that we cannot understand for a behaviour that has manifested itself on this server since release and was completly blizzlike and that NOT ONCE did the admnistration say was an infraction or even HINT that it was exploitation.
