5 reasons why the old server WON'T be dead

A list of guilds returning is completely worthless because you have no idea how many players in each guild will actually return with them. 1 guy coming back holding the name doesn't mean much. Even if the leader is coming back, if he's alone, he'll be reforming the whole thing, which won't mean much vs just starting a new one. Guilds with leaders coming back will still have to undergo mass recruitment to restructure the raid, but plenty of players probably won't ever be seen again. At this point they might not even want to play Classic WoW anymore, or might be interested in a fresh start again. We all have to wait and see, then just start recruiting again.

Yeah i dont know but im pretty much sure they wouldn't say they are coming back if they wouldnt have enough players to actually do something. (mby simonich but others...)

I think the old server is going to be somewhere around 5-10k and the fresh server will be flooded at start having 10k + but only time will tell.

This mentality is pretty much same as reddit.com/r/wowservers/ where there is always new hypetrain to jump on and ppl leave the project hype the next one and so the circle goes on and on. Nost Old Pvp was home for many players and i hope that it gets solid 5k+ population as well as the fresh server so everyone can feel the alive vanilla world without the downsides (horrible view distance, pvp impossible for melees during china prime time, etc)

if there is gonna be 6k+ people online and i'm sure there will, it will be perfectly alright imo. I'm going fresh though

if they set a cap below 7k alot of you are gona be miserable so stop lifting it as if its gona support every single player that comes back to nost they will look at other options once theyre stuck in queue for 5 hours, anyways all these assumptions would be better off after the stress test we'll get a better idea of how things will go down. instead of pretending your a prophet that can read the future, go walk it off.

And just go to make char, cos all hype Nostalrius got while shutting down.
I think there is big chance that, when you are in realm selection screen you just click on name Nostarius over Elysium for your new toon, but maybe that's just me thinking like that.
