I don't come on these forums a lot. When I do, I usually just lurk but this topic in particular just infuriates the shit out of me. Let it be known that if Nostalrius wants a comeback, it can very damn well happen. There's ways to make it happen without Blizzard being able to-- Look, if fuckin' piratebay can have more resurrections than Jesus, Nostalrius can pull this off. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be possible in 2016. That being said, I dunno why Blizzard feels so threatened by THEIR OWN product and potentially re-releasing it in an attempt to profit from it twice!! Personally, I think it's the new blood at Blizzard feeling like a whole development team of has-beens inadvertently shit on the new blood's product over 10 years ago without knowing what the future of WoW was going to be. Now we're stuck with his half-assed game where all the old content is absolute misery and the WoD/Legion stuff is actually up to date and feels modern. Everything is stuck in this huge WoW-Schism where you've got half-updated graphics and content and the other half is old shit mixed with cataclysm. The game is an undeniable cluster-fuck and they have the audacity to sit there and scratch their heads wondering why people want to go back to a time where EVERYTHING in WoW was genuinely consistent and had meaning??? AND they demand I sit there and pay a fucking subscription for it?? Incredible. Ball's in this team's court. I hope they give Blizzard the finger and blow a fat cloud of cigar smoke in their asinine casual catering faces.

EDIT: I just wanted to add that I don't think they're planning to say anything post-blizzcon at all. Not good news anyways. If they REALLY were on board with this thing, they'd be hyping it up and hinting towards it way harder than they are doing with this whole retarded Sombra debacle.

Blizzard stated that there will be no update on Legacy servers during BlizzCon. That is all.
You can speculate all you want but the simple fact is that Blizzard did NOT announce that they are not working on Legacy servers.

Really disappointed, but expected. I'd play on Nostalrius again but their lenient policy of a certain group of people ruining the experience of the server is a massive draw-back. Legacy would've been nice for region lock.
