Is it allowed to give large amount o gold to a guild member?

Greetings friends!
I am curious if i can be auto-banned for giving 700-1000 gold to a friend from my guild so he could buy enchants, flasks etc to prepare for high-end raiding. I've heard that sometimes people receive automatic bans when they trade large amounts of gold via trade (maybe it's something releated to a gold trading.)
The question is - is it safe, or how to do this "legit" way? He will not give me anythin in return, since he just finishd levelin up, i guess it can be suspicious for a system that tracks gold traffic (if there is something like that).

What is RMT?
I don't ask my friends to "earn" my help - what kind of a friend does it? I invited him to this game becaue we needed more healers for our pve progression.

You are allowed to do it.
The GMs have however warned that they cannot guarantee that you will not get mistakenly autobanned. In those cases the ban will get lifted after a review though.

Trade him the sum with small amounts, like 20-30 gold an hour or half an hour.

Just use trand and not the mail system....
i just trolled around last night and my mate gave me 2k gold for fun and i did not get a ban

Unless you give him 1000 gold i don't think you'll have to worry about it

I've bought many Guildies epic mounts, amongst many other very expensive items. Traded a bunch of gold in doing so obviously; never had any problems. Be legit, and you have nothing to worry about...

Not true false positives happen all the time
For instance, im banned 3 days now for being mind controlled by a priest in a battleground and for the past 2 days they have been "reviewing" it, like there is even anything to review.
