Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'd like to farm up my Bloodsail rep so that I can get the awesome Bloodsail Admiral's hat http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=12185. On Aowow it has been suggested that the fastest way to gain rep is to kill Booty Bay Bruisers. However you do not seem to be able to attack the Bruisers on Nostalrius, although I think this may be because I am still friendly with Booty Bay.

Can anyone confirm whether it's possible to attack the bruisers if you lower your Booty Bay rep to unfriendly? Does the Bloodsail hat actually exist in Nostalrius?

go to your reputation panel, search for booty bay and check the "At war" button
