Is it raining everywhere?

I love the fact that starting areas are getting some weather, rain, snow, etc. That's great. but was it like this in vanilla? I dont remember storms in Shadowglen or Northshire, but then again this was ten years ago.

If the weather has been turned up on Nostalrius servers, I'm all for it. But I kind of wanted the Northshire sunny day that I remember.
