are fine. They are competitive when there are even numbers...and often quite entertaining (which is what a game should be, right?) There are the usual empty BGs from multi-queue too. There is a grand total of 1 (one) Premade group; it is on Horde side. Everyone pretty much knows everyone else.
You know what the big differences are? It's an average population for vanilla server. Also, more importantly, there are maybe 10 people at most all goofy for high ranks. 10 people total that will do anything under the sun to rank up. All the rest of us play for fun and will enjoy what we get a r10, if we make it that far.
On the PvP server with an out of control population there is always going to be a percentage of people that will do what ever is necessary to make the game not at all a game, but a job. A long, boring, tedious job.
No one needs to create grand conspiracies or question the staff's motivation. The source of the BG problem is the people themselves. If you find yourself getting all irritated, I suggest you take a step back and think about it. Did you really want to be this irritated playing a game?
