Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just wanted to say that after many many many years of playing WoW in all of its iterations, i have finally found a place i can call my new home. Nostalrius is probably the best, most stable (thus far) vanilla WoW server that i have encountered. It's great to see so many friendly players around, it's definitely a welcome change from the Blizz servers..

My main question - how can i donate? I tried searching the website and the forums, but could not find a link for it. My apologies if it was painfully obvious and i simply missed it.

I remember my first week of playing wow like it was yesterday even though it was 8 years ago. Several times every day that week I kinda had to stop play and just say to my self "I LOVE THIS GAME". That feeling diminished every expansion and I always thought it was just me who was getting bored of the game. But then Blizzard released WoD and I just thought to myself, I kinda hate this game ;(, it just can't be me, it must be the game, so i quit. Then I found Notarius some months ago, and the same feeling is back again I had when I first started, I LOVE THIS GAME. Almost every time I play I kinda have to stop and think to myself, I LOVE THIS GAME. So It wasn't me, it was Blizzard who changed the game into some crap crappy crap crap bullshit LFR crap and Nostalrius gave us the real World of Warcraft back!

So I AGRRE!

Heh, thanks for the reminder, but i truly do want to assist the administration with the expenses with my modest contributions. I played on too many vanilla servers that have like 300% leveling speed, free items lottery and such. This is exactly the environment i was looking for - 1:1 vanilla (without the major bugs )

What I like most about this is the classes have their pre-nerf strengths. What I hated most was when Shamans made available to Alliance and Paladins to the Horde. I also hated it when race limitations were lifted on classes. ı also hated it when we were able to solo quests that needed a full group. So Nostalrius brought back the good old memories.

When I started playing in September I thought i'd only take a quick nostalgia trip. But now I'm late game raiding and it's the best. <3

I think im gonna setup a 5$ Donation every month too.
This server is just great.

Been playing here for a couple of months and I really enjoy it.

Probs to the devs for doing such a great job.

Lol, same thing here! I started a character just to fool around on, which I had little to no intent of playing for more than a few minutes. Months later and it's max level and doing dungeons. The magic of WoW is real.
