Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

This post is concerning the use of AI-Art. What it does is change the art in game like your character information panel ect. I was wondering if it's considered changing the World of Warcraft game files and we are not able to use it. I want to use it but I don't want to risk getting my account banned so I was wondering if any one knows if we can use this or not. If it tampers with anything in the actual game data files, such as what model changers do, it'll get you banned. Does this addon do that?

This changes textures such as your character info page, the mailbox interface ect.

Then it is indeed bannable.

The GM's cannot se what is changed, just that something has been tampered with - and therefore all changes to client files are indeed not recommended, even the modification in your case is rather harmless.

If you watch the video on the website you can see how he installs it but I wont use it if I will get banned then thanks for the help

You can do most of the stuff with normal addons though (anything after the login screen that is only related to the UI)

What I am really looking for is better textures for the character info panel and the mailbox this AI-Art thing also does that but not through addons. I have not yet found an addon that does what I am looking for.

As the author of Ai-Art for the private servers I would like you to show me where it changes the MPQs. It changes which textures are loaded, which is what addons do with scripting. There is no scripting involved, it does not interfere with game files, is cosmetic only and does not "break or interfere" with game play. This type of change is even within blizzards very ToS as of 2016. So explain to me how this is at all bannable?

Unless the GM's of this server are looking at your computer files they can not see a client texture replacement that does not interfere with game play, interfere with packets, or make changes to the game files themselves. They are .blp textures that not only fall within this servers guidelines on modifications, but Blizzards very own ToS.
