Will it be possible to transfer from PvE to PvP? I'd like to get my leveling out of the way gank-free, then progress in a PvP server (not to gank because I'm not an as***le, but just for funzies, ya'feel?)

Anyone know/any mods able to release info on this?

No it won't be possible. The released info already states that.

It wasn't possible in retail either (from PvE to PvP) until Wrath.

Please quote where you read that PvE transnfers won't be possible.

To OP, the devs posted this;

Characters already created on our Vanilla PVP & PVE servers will be able to be copied on the TBC realm under condition, not to have a negative impact on the economy, which will be described when the server will be ready to use.

This is in the first paragraph of the TBC announcement, which I'm sure Mimma didn't read.

Hmm, ok. The question is still open then, it seems. I thought I missed a part but that is also what I read, Kurise. So maybe someone knows for sure.

There is no TBC you can transfer to right now, or anytime soon.

No. We have no plans on allowing anything like this and it would be a massive extra workload that would have to be done ostly manually.

Unknown at this time. No details regarding this have been decided. If you want to be super-duper extra sure, level a character you want to play on the tbc PVP realm to 60 on the current PVP realm. But really, this is all up in the air.

In the linked topic Pottu clearly says that it is not yet decided, so Vanilla PvE to TBC PvP might be possible.
