Hey guys! A bit late to the party but I'm wondering if it's still a good time to join the game. People still leveling? Are the guilds too far progressed?

Server pop rarely drops below 7,000 users playing, I've seen it as high as 13,000 during peak hours.
Yes, people are still leveling.
No, guilds are not too far progressed.
Enjoy!

A great time to join if you like massive server delay and Chinese controlled resources.
Sad to see this server on the steady decline.
In b4 "racist against the Chinese"

If you can pass on world pvp (and ganking), the PvE server is a good alternative, being less crowded, (much) less lag and being earlier on the progression timeline (MC/Ony).

It will never be "too late" to join. It's vanilla.

In my humble opinion it is late.
13k people online at peak hours which is like half of the time.
Too many people doing the same quests.
Get ganked by 60s

Quite a bit of server lag and dc's.
I'd say wait until they release a 2nd PvP realm or join the PvE realm <-- which is anti-climactic if you ask me.

There are always people to group with on the PVP realm at every level; for quests and instances. On the whole the in-game community is friendly and not too different to retail vanilla. The obvious difference is that where on retail late comers would have fewer people to group with, on Nostalrius you'll always have a thunder buddy.
