Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello all,

I've started on the PVE server, and I've reached level 20 and I'm wondering how the PVP server would be like with the greater population.

My concern is that a server with such pop would be a mess in the PVP areas and as a low-level player, I'd just get gimped by campers repeatedly once I get level 20+.

Are my concerns unfounded?

Your concerns are very founded, very.

As someone who played PvP up to level 32 I can assure you that you will lose hours of playtime on running back to your corpse, only to be ganked 3 more times, walk a few more yards, and ganked by a new person. Very founded concern. Now on the PvE server though, it does seem a bit dead. But it doesn't bother me as I'm switching to TBC as soon as it's out.

The TBC server as PVE? or PVP?

Do you think if they launched TBC as PVP and PVE at the same time, the population would even out a bit?

What ETA do they have on TBC?

Guys TBC won't be out before like 1 year, 1 year and a half at best, chill out .

I have leveled 4 characters to 60 on the pvp realm and i didnt really get ganked that much.

Alliance or Horde?

Had zero problems leveling on PVP. Just grab a few friends and pwn yer enemies!!! Can't imagine how boring PVE can be! It's Vanilla! You have to fight your path to GLORY!!!!

I first leveled on PVE server alliance to level 24. but it was hard to find a dungeon group.
so i switched to PVP server horde side. it is easy to find a dungeon group at any level.

Ganking was high in STV, but it was not that much as expected.

How recent was the last 60 you did?
Or did you do that relatively close to launch a year odd ago?
