My guess is that they wont open a new PvP server because they expect the current average number of players to eventually decrease.

As popular as Nost is they cant hold onto all their players forever. Eventually people will leave because of disinterest or simply commit themselves to the upcoming TBC server.

For this reason they probably dont see a new PvP server as a good investment.

That said, theres almost 13k players on the PvP server now and server lag is becoming unbearable.

I really wish the Nost team would clarify their stance on this one. I'm about to re-roll with friends but if a new server was to come up - I know a fair few who'd jump at the chance of playing a fresh server. Let's be real, Nostalrius's user base isn't going to deplete THAT much (I thought the Kronos event would put in a dent but it hasn't).

Something needs to happen soon because the chinese are lagging the server so badly.
