Alternative solutions to the lag issue

by Lifealert » Mon Mar 07, 2016 3:00 pm

As we all know the server has becoming unbearably laggy as of late. It only gets worse with each passing day. I once talked to someone who was living in france and he told me that he was experiencing no delay and that his latency was 15ms.

Is there any way we can mitigate this awful delay on the client side of things? For example, using a VPN.

not that i would want that, but why should chinese not be allowed to play? i read so much shit from underclass people without education, it's poor.

The lag is there, but i wouldnt say unbearable. It's annoying, but if it's becoming better in the next months i'm fine with it tbh. It's amazing how far the server has been optimized.

I'd have to agree, even being American.

Vpns do not work. I tried this on another game and it did affect the latency, but I guess this client works differently.

The ping has nothing to do with latency, you could connect to the server through LAN and it'd still lag. It's all because the server is overloaded and can't handle the requests fast enough.
