Cautionary tale.
Posted: Wed Mar 16, 2016 9:53 amA bit of back story. I played a shadow priest named Greiph on this server. I was recently banned for botting. This is not a plea for help or a complaint about Nost post. Even though I did not bot. They believe I did, and rightly banned a potential botter. What I am trying to warn you about is a mod call Titan panel, it has I'll call it a sub mod named battle tracker.
As a secondary function of battle tracker this mod automatically accepts the que after 10 seconds. So if you are tabbed out, and not getting the traditional bing in the back round you may simply zone into a bg and afk you out. This is what I believe led them to believe I was a botter. The mechanical nature of the mod accepting que's after 10 seconds makes you seem like a bot, and if you have the attetion span of a gnat like me, and are liable to tabb out you will be tagged as a botter, and banned. I know it's bad etiquette either way, but so is playing a rogue so try not to be so judgemental people.
I hope reading this may help some one not be banned for foolish behavior. Learn from my mistakes, and enjoy Nost. I wont be leveling a new guy, but thats out of laziness not any feeling that I was unfairly punished.
