Oh, nvm. After looking into it appears it actually was a vanilla thing. Also, funny enough we shouldn't have had a influx of Flask's like we did. Black Lotus used to be BoP. I'm unsure when it changed, but it was BoP through BWL at least in vanilla.

I wonder how that would have effected progression XD If at all...

Black lotus prices are only going to get worse too. Don't believe me? People finally woke up and realized they need flasks for imminent aq progression. So that's when the lotuses jumped from 55ish up to the 70s and is still climbing. When aq comes out there is going to be an even bigger rush from all of the people that didn't think flasking was necessary and are now being hounded by their guild to go get flasks because they are stuck wiping on boss x or y. Now a few months pass and the aq hurdle will not change because more and more guilds will be trickling into aq if they can as well as the constant need for the tryhards doing speed runs.
At this point we are a couple months away from Naxx being released and everyone is in full stock up mode and the cycle continues. Except that when Naxx is released flasking will probably be necessary for everyone everytime. RIP.

The prices are already unsustainable and they are going to get worse. We need a method that removes the ability for prices to be inflated and to allow the market to bring itself to what it should be. We have been told that many people are hording lotuses. Well it doesn't matter because we aren't seeing them so if they have 10 or 1000 it's not going to change. And this is different than the ungoro cartels. Each character at most needs only one set of devilsaur gear and they can pony up the cash and then put it behind them. Black lotuses are consumables. Every progression raider needs them and every time you pop it it is gone forever. It's a finite supply versus a much higher demand than the server can produce.

Please for the love of god do something to bring these prices back under control.

100g is really ridiculous. i'd rather spend that gold on the repair npc than some hoarding jew. i can wipe 50 times for that gold. and that's just the lotus.

if you're not in a ultra tryhard guild all you can do is try to get enough loti together for higher tier naxx, where you _actually_ need them. you're gonna wipe more and it's gonna be slower but see what "progressing" through bwl in a 1-5 weeks has done: everyone is full bis and bored as fuck.

yeah i guess you can spend that time making gold to finance some guy's quest to reach the gold cap.

oh well.

btw: theyre not gonna do anything. they're gonna let 20k or 30k people play here if they can, making shit even more expensive.

the people who drink flasks in MC because they cant allow their avarage #1 dps to drop have enough gold/flasks/loti saved up. there is also only 3 guilds like that on the server. the dont give a shit what the price is. they will continue doing it.

but the problem is also with the large mid range population who thinks they need flasks to progress in aq.

hint: if youre too shit to move away from dark glare, a titan's is not gonna save you.
