Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Not sure if I am posting in the right section, however...

A simple question, the quest "This Is Going to Be Hard" located in the badlands. A chain quest in which you have to kill a rock element to gain his shackles. Is it bugged ? i have tried doing the quest killing the mob, it cant be looted I abandon try again to no avail, I have met others here who also can't complete it.

As a level 39 warrior with no gold for a mount I am in dire need of the quest reward "Nifty Stopwatch" as it will add some mobility to an otherwise low mobility, other than the occasional critter charge, life that i lead.

This does indeed seem to be bugged. There's no option to loot the corpse and I'm sitting here watching multiple people, both horde and alliance, experience the same thing. Respawning him also seems to make no difference.

If it's not bugged how do I complete it?

The quest mob dosn't drop its quest item. BUMP

Certainly seems to be, can i ask when you completed it ?.. as if you go to the quest area im sure you will find atleast one or two people there attempting it yet unable to complete it.

It won't get fixed and no one will help you lol, just move on to the next quest and forget that one. There are a ton of issues that get over looked or ignored.
