Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So, looking at the timeline of Nostalrius, it makes me wonder what is really the point of PvE server besides the convenience of not being ganked.

The raids and everything else too is releas on the PvP realm sooner. It has higher population. It has the possibility of world PvP.

Really, what is the point of PvE realm when even it's primary content is being released later?

The pop gives me cancer. Makes me want to reroll on PvE. But majority of friends play on PvP and if it wasn't for that I would've already rerolled there. The pop on PvE is less non-blizzlike than PvP. The cap in Classic Retail was like 2.500 players or what?
