Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Most people used local trade channel in IF instead of lookingforgroup which is global when looking for dps tank w/e. Why lol? What am I not seeing here? :>

They sit in captial city anyways, therefore they not only spam /world but /trade as well to get a bigger audience.

The simple answer is that not everyone is in /world or /lfg, whereas nearly everybody is in /Trade

I think the simpler answer is that they don't know there is an LFG channel.

Every PUG I've been in where they weren't in LFG it was because they didn't know LFG existed.

"What? There's a channel for LFG? How do I get to it?"

I think if i correctly remember when i was searching i found that /LookingForGroup was changed in 1.12. And the change is that you have to join it yourself. before 1.12, which means from 1.0 -1.12 it was on default, where everybody was in that channel automatically. So would be great if we had this + fixing /GuildRecruitment channel


And 1.12.1 lasted only 3 months while whole vanilla time was nearly 2 years... so if u wanna create vanilla experience, which is smarter? 3 months or nearly 2 years?

Ah I see. Yes I doubt "fixing" /lfg would break the vanilla feel... we do have 1.8 Alterac Valley afterall

Dps warriors are ok, however yea i hate when a group is LF a tank and has a warr dps that can literally just go and tank himself, tank spec or not.

what's wrong with memes and autism?

I think this would be easy to implement and would hardly break and vanilla experience ...just frees up trade chat and would make lfg that bit easier.
