When you get muted in Barrens chat for quoting an imam, there's something terribly wrong with some of the game-masters.
I quote and I quote again; "The womb of our women is our new sword".

This is a quote, I do not support it nor am I against it. It's a QUOTE.

You mute me for saying this, yet people are talking about raping and killing children, talking about how Mexicans and black people are lesser beings. Trump, white supremacy whatever you can come up with, it's in Barrens chat.

To mute me for QUOTING this is abuse of power. Simple as that.
I don't feel any hate towards islam, christians, black or white, I really do not give a flying fuck.

But for you to take away my freedom of speech for no reason is too much. I didn't break any rule. You didn't give me any warning.
On top of that our dear GM Pottu has the balls to tell me I've seen too much internet for today and need to go outside.
Of course, I couldn't reply (since I'm muted) which is a shame because I would have loved to hear Pottu's view on this and maybe somewhat of an explanation would have been nice.

Right now the only thing I can assume is that he's;
A) a muslim who doesn't want to see people showing the true colors of the extremist islam
B) an overly sensitive European/ Murican who feels like he has to defend "the weak"
C) an idiot

I repeat, I do not feel any hate towards any religion, people can do what they want.
But when you take away my freedom of speech like this it just drives me insane.
Didn't break any rules, didn't get a warning.

Hahahaha I saw you raging about it in the barrens chat. I'm not saying you don't have the right to be mad, but in reality it would benefit you to just let it go, as this "is not your server" technically. I hope it wasn't a perm mute, but I'm sure you can get that appealed or something. If you think about it, right now we are in the "dark age" of vanilla WoW, we are forced to play on shady private servers where they are controlled by a "private" group of developers. Thankfully, Nostalrius doesn't seem to be as immature and shady as previous private servers, it seems like this generation of PS are almost a new "era". Now, I'm not saying spread your asscheecks for nostalrius crew just because they don't steal money and do other shady things like other Private servers, but they are doing quite a good job in comparison to previous projects. This doesn't mean theres room for improvement, but obviously perfection is just perfection, and we must face reality at all times.

Althought simply muting someone without warning and not letting them "fight back" or defend themselves is might feel a little bit like "abuse of power".

You weren't muted for that sentence only but I guess it's not a surprise that a staunch defender of the freedom of speech resorts to lying when trying to make their case and to posting from a throwaway account. As for your information, there is no freedom of speech on Nostalrius. This is not a public debate arena and no staff member is required to waste their time by arguing with a player, especially over something as non-essential and utterly trivial as your imaginary right of spewing racist bullshit on Barrens chat. Do not pretend that you're any sort of a persecuted, unique snowflake either - I muted ten players in the first five minutes of monitoring Barrens chat. You were suspended for 24 hours because even after the original mute wore off, you kept spamming abuse in chat. Man is not a learning animal, it seems.
