Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I noticed something peculiar both last night and this morning while doing the Benediction questline: when a non-Chinese priest attempted, a Chinese player would continually reset it on the 4th wave of peasants to force the attempting priest to use their consumables. The priest in question logged off in frustration, and the Chinese priest in line continued- this time no reset-trolling from the fellow Chinese.

This morning I log on, hoping the Chinese are sleeping, only to see the same thing repeat itself. Again, a Chinese rogue doing the trolling to a Western player while a Chinese priest waited in line. I saw him reset 5 times before logging off myself in frustration.

There is a basic 'Us vs Them' that the Nostalrius staff isn't understanding that Chinese players exhibit. The mentality that says "Chinese first. Fuck the rest" that I saw every day while leveling. I know you guys want to be politically correct, but I encourage the staff to level and see it for themselves. It's your time, it's your server, it's your money that keeps this awesome place going.... but I ask you to really think about whether your effort is something you want to spend so that these people can treat us like meat.

I for one support you guys no matter what and love this place, I've donated a month of server time and plan on donating another before the year is over regardless of what you do with the Chinese population. But I just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Well, we western players do the same. I'm tank so I decide whos coming in my group. When team xiao tries to get into my group and some scandinavian 100% i take the scandinavian.

Edit: They should do a one-character policy. It worked in China itself. :O

Congratulations! You just met a rotten apple. Don't generalise please. Chinese players have been the most polite, warm and welcoming of ALL people I've played with on Nostalrius PVP... Even if there has been some kind of a language barrier.

i can confirm they are all literally trash in bgs. they attempt an objective once and if they fail (99% of the time) they afk at stables or afk at graveyard the whole rest of the game no matter what.

That's a lot of rotten apples just in a couple of hours in the Benediction area. Add to that all the examples of quest trolling while leveling where they don't care if you've been waiting for a spawn for 45 minutes, they just come in in groups of 5 and tag the mob. Again and again.

To give you a contrast, In the same time I saw one english speaking person reset on purpose, they whispered "LOL". But after I explained to them how long people wait for this questline he chilled with us.

It's not a rotten apple. It's a whole rotten bunch.

Scandinavian, Russians, W. Europeans, Americans, Aussies. We can all play together and we have. I find Russians hilarious, if you fuck up it's "L2Play Noob" and gkick for their friends. But they DO cooperate and help and chill.

With China you just don't get that.

When i was playing back in vanilla(2005) There was a server same like Nostalrius with pop 50/50 chinese / EUs. As far i can remember a lot of ppl (Maybe half of the EUs there) migrated to others server coz of the chinese.This problem will presist...chinese will never leave this server.EUs will. Its a just a matter of time. Nostalaguis devs. achieved their goal ( to make a server with verry high pop) now they just dont care about the pop.The lag/delay will be fixed. But pop will be a hard issue for this server.

The only solution for Nost. devs. is the TBC server. A lot of ppl will go there. In that way the vanilla PvP server will be with low Pop. But i`m not counting on that.
