Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So i've recently obtained an item called "Cloak Of Flames" http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=3475

As i've heard it's one of the rarest item in the game if not the rarest, And i've also heard that it's damage scales 1:1 with Spell power. Can anyone confirm / deny these statements on nostalrius? I've searched through previous forum posts as well as the bug tracker but am unable to find information.

It does not at the moment atleast. Try finding old data regarding this if you're interested though.

Mind you; if you find said data, don't really count on it getting fixed too fast. They are quite busy with future development of the server and items such as this or lets take the Zanza potions for example aren't really looked at even though they have been set to "CONFIRMED" on the bugtracker for months now. Just nothing happens to it.

I also have this cloak in my bags but I don't really count on it being that 1;1 spellpower item. It's cool for my thorns set.

Have you tested it? Would it be too much to expect such a simple fix from the developers? Should i even bother equipping it or look to save / sell it?

If you cannot confirm that it scales i doubt you will find alot of buyers

I believe nost coded against these mechanics, specifically the fire rogue?

I cannot confirm it (yet) but I have the cloak and can try it by putting on some SP gear.
