It's pretty sad, youv'e decided to give up that easy. There is a lot of projects that were opressed by such circumstances. But there are plenty of examples when server/recource moves to the other hoster in country X (which laws are not so harsh regarding this case) and lives on.
Srsly! Look at your own petition. 17k ppl yells - DO NOT shut down Nost! You can even change the label etc and go complete anon. But your project is far to great to end like this.
