Lawyers (and especially lawyers hired by a company like Blizzard) can really screw you up, so it's understandable they don't want to play with them. Daemon, as far as I know, doesn't have a super rich daddy ready to back him up and his team in the eventuality they loose and have to pay GIGANTIC amounts of money. Maybe you do ?

Meaning they would calculate every person played on Nostalrius servers and then add up the normal Blizzard subscription fees plus the duration this server was online since 2015.
That is a big dough of cash that no man in here could afford to pay.
