Bliz should license Nost - they won't, but they should

I'd be fine with paying retail prices for Nost.
I'd like Bliz to license Nost.
It seems a reasonable thing to do, given that Bliz refuse to offer Vanilla and I do think pretty much everyone playing Nost refuses to play retail because it sucks so hard.
They won't do it, of course - Bliz are a large company, and so completely removed from their cusomters (look at what they did to retail!), and also by being large so much less able to be reasonable or flexible (instead, you get legal threats).

Whether they like it or not, private servers will always exist, big or small.
However Nost was definetely different. Non-profit, 1x experience, x1 item rates, Very good scripting (compared to others) and a huge population(show casing demand for legacy servers). Nostalrius received their DMCA, Nostalrius announces it will close.
Now all of this combined clearly shows Blizzard as a bully. A bully that, not only shuts down a non profit server, but allows other servers that milk the shit out of THEIR product to thrive. It`s a simple case of having too much market share. Nost got too big, Blizz didnt like it, they shut them down.
Are they within their rights to do it? Yes.
Should they do it? No
Considering Blizzard`s ideals, they are extremely adamant on not opening up private servers. they have said many things regarding as to why, stretching as far as to say things like : *You think you want legacy servers, but you dont* or *We don`t have the code for it*. All of these which I firmly believe to be complete Bullshit. Many people playing on Nost, not all, have bought original WoW CDs and have been playing and paying for the longest time. Now, having bought and established we bought orignal WoW CDs, why would be forced into THEIR expansions and content to be denied content we originally bought?
I`m sorry to say, but the consumer decides whether or not you get our money. You no longer sell Vanilla, yet there is a demand for it, can you really blame us ActiBlizzard? This goes beyond betraying your fan base, this is spitting in our faces. There is, obviously, a significant demand for Vanilla legacy servers. What happens when their is demand for something that isn`t allowed or hard to access? people find a way around it. Get our Supply blizzard.
Nost just might be the pioneers that change this. They are even pacifists and agreed to shut down Nost, knowing it would spark an uproar. Im sure Blizzard didn`t think to get such a reaction from their own fans, their vanilla loving fans, their fans who have been with them from the start. The same fans, who in turn, are the ones who got blizzard to where they are today.
So, with Blizzards crashing subs numbers, the spiteful Nost shutdown, a coming movie and new expansion on the rise, what is to be expected? Considering im sure Many people from Nost will and already have cancelled subs with Blizzard, there will be another drop, but their expansion will spike it. Lets hope for another shit expansion like WoD, so Blizz will open their fucking eyes and finally give what player`s want:
The WoW Experience, however that applies to anyone, listen to your fans....
Meanwhile, boycott the best you can, express your feelings to Blizzard on their facebook page in a nice manner if possible, do not stoop to their level, etc. Negative criticism from people chains together and spreads quite quickly, especially in today`s society.
I almost feel it was Nost`s plan ever since they gained popularity, they knew the shutdown was inevitable. So, they decided to let Blizzard hit them. * Take our code if you want, make Vanilla servers. Here`s proof people want it if you will finally understand* They knew our community would revolt. Telling us our characters are saved, which they indeed are im sure. Giving us hope that it does not end here. The petition clearly shows people want change. Nostalrius staff and members put our foot in the door for change with this petition, swing it wide the fuck open and get on with it now.
Let them feel the burn guys. The only way to spark change is collective resistance.
Truly yours,
A fucking sick cunt m8

Greatest post I've seen regarding the topic. I've sent more or less these reasons to Blizzard. Not expecting any answer but maybe we can achieve something together!
It kinda feels like The Seed in Sword Art Online (with Nost giving away the source code) ;D
