Nos Team Endorsed Server?

As far as I can gather, there are multiple servers wanting to take over from where Nostalrius left off using the database they said they'd release. This is all well and good, but my worry is anyone could just start up a server without the proper knowledge / time / money to actually maintain it.

In reality, a huge part of the success of Nostalrius was the professionalism of the whole team running it. So this is where my question comes in (and i'm assuming that some of the Nos team are willing to work one a new server as hinted at in the front page post in this).

Will there be some form of announcement if the Nostalrius team (or what remains of it) "partners up" with another private server team or whatever their next step is?

I understand that it is very early, and the Nost team probably doesn't know what they're going to do yet, but it would be nice to know if there would be a generalised announcement coming about the future of the team behind the project.

So far Vanilla.Re sounds the best option for me, they told that they have experience in hosting vanilla servers for 1500+ players, but hey, I can also say I have hosted a private server for 9000 people. But so far my hopes are set on vanilla re.

I would not expect an official announcement, cause this would be "silly" since a billionaire shity company are after them... But the news will come, from word of mouth! Just check forums, read here and there, see reddit, follow your heart and keep up with your friends!

Well Vanilla.re is not that good... first of all they will only make the pvp server. The most valid one seems to be https://valhalla-realms.com/ . But of course we must wait and see. Just be patient.

Just host a new server beyond EU, what are you waiting for? Others can and want to but you can't? It's strange.. you don't have to cooperate with other servers or give access to your data. You just have your host provider in France so change it and keep Nost alive or maybe you prefer to abandon this project?

Www.thebirth.net is the only option because it don't have a donor shop and I can't pay to win, also it's been up a lot longer then all the others.
