Thankfully Nost is getting more spotlight.

But people need to stop donating and claiming these shitty new websites are the next Nost 2.0. People were literally donating to Soda telling him that Vanilla.crap place was going to be the new Nost. What is wrong with people? Do they just not think?

He said he even cried a little in the shower lol. Okay Soda.

Sodapoppin is famous for being a troll. When he started playing on our server the community got a lot worse because he brought his fanboy baby trolls with him. He made the quality of life on Nost a lot worse for the benefit of his own narcissism. He is NOT helping things.

I feel like he drew too much unwanted attention to it and then it got snuffed out by Blizz. You typically keep such things under the radar, and refrain from literally broadcasting them for all to know. Word of my mouth works better. While it may have initially grew the server, Sodapoppin's streaming about Nostalrius ultimately lead to it's shutdown. That's what I believe, at least.

I never noticed anything different about the community when soda started talking about the server.

also it is not fair to say soda is a troll and he made things worse. that guy really loves WoW and he was as crushed as the rest of us that nost is being shut down.

don't blame soda for being a troll, it is his fans that are the trolls.
