Now here is a thought: If leveling is not challenging and not immersive, then leveling just becomes a pointless grind to the end game. Even all the way up to level 90, when you think oh, finally... I reached 90 now I can enjoy the content... most likely, you will associate this with a long grind too, because things have been so easy and handed to you before... you cultivate a state of mind that no longer allows you to enjoy leveling.
So, what makes leveling nothing but an annoyance?... a loooong tedious punishment for spawning a new class.
Well how about this? How about they just give you a level 100... so there is no long tedious "punishment" if you will. Oh wait, that costs 60$. 60 dollars, and there is no long tedious punishment.
So, did blizzard know this? Did they over time think to themselves.. hey, if we make leveling pointless, practically a punishment. Take away all immersion of the true azeroth (professions, skills, LFD, LFG, LFR) then one would more likely be tempted to buy another 100.
Or maybe, they were thinking.. hey, no one has time for this game. It takes too long. People are getting divorced and kids are failing school... lets make it to where everyone can enjoy the game aaaand perhaps level 12 characters up to 100 and have them all decked out in full raid gear.

Analyzation the "Good Guy Ethos"
Server Changes: Some people want to play on different servers. Well blizzard knows damn well that all that does is transfer all the characters to a couple highly populated servers. Then again they know that it would destroy servers. Not only that but every time a player feels lost in a server because they don't know anyone there is $$$$$.
Faction Changes: BLIZZARD knows what happens here, mass faction unbalances every expansion. This way world pvp is useless and non-immersive... this sounds like $$$$$ for blizz to me.
LFR, LFG, LFD: How many LF abbreviations can one make? This absolutely destroyed pvp for me. I mean, how can there be so many damned 2k players? 95% of people are fucking 2k? how is that even possible. Because I made duelist at 1900, which is the top 10% of all arenas. So 2k has to be like, at least 5% of all people who arena.......... Anyway I digress, when you have this... what is the point of having a guild? PVP guild ha, that's laughable. This also takes away all interaction with the environment. Once you hit 100, you can raid without even running to the raid! You que up, crunch your keyboard for like 3 hours, then you are done. WHAT DO THESE PEOPLE DO FOR THE REST OF THE TIME ON WOW?!?! I could go on for quite a while on how this system destroys everything.
Pokemon Game: A battle pet game inside wow. Oh yea, they sell those battle pets for $$$. By the way to each their own but I will never play that shit. Generational differences I guess.
Wow Tokens: Perhaps this stopped thousands of players from buying gold for asian hackers but u...h. Man that inflated the AH like no tomorrow. It's kind of dumb. Plus! Wow gets $$$$
Heirlooms: This makes me feel horrible for new players. They come in, have no clue what they are doing... and everyone around them are OP as fuck. So experiencing warsong gulch, arathi basin, etc.... as a new character below 100 is a HORRIBLE experience. Plus, taking out acquiring gear at a low level.... why even have professions at a low level? what the fuck. Oh professions, another "hander outer" that affects low levels and essentially makes something that was once enjoyable non-enjoyable.
Talents: I was so bummed when they took out my talent tree. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A FUCKING TALENT TREE. You can't call that a tree, sorry. It's came to, 3 options every time you hit every 15 levels. If I want to spend 1 talent in divine strength and 2 talents in redoubt, I have the freedom to do it. When I look at my vanilla talent tree I just want to theory craft and go on websites and calculate my shit up all fucking day. While I'm at work... talent tree calcs.
Abilities: You don't have to visit a trainer anymore. OR even purchase my abilities from them. So you never.. really have to go in town. I mean, you can literally run around and just level. This basically is from "oh well... it's too hard to learn how to make money, I just want to LFD my DK until 100 so I can be overpowered."
Guild Perks: Yea this was cool at the start but eventually all guilds got perks. Perks were to easy to get.
Why must they cater to the "it's not fair crowd"? I'll never know. But this "it's not fair" idea have allowed them to capitalize on the players who don't want to true rpg. If you want fucking mario, play mario don't try to turn this game into a farmville mario cus then they will be asking for $$$ for in game gold just like farmville... Then they can make 40 different expansions $$$$ like mario... Oh wait. =)
Then there is the arguement of OH, I Can't access all the content because it takes too loooong. Oh well I remember in wotlk, where most guilds, made it through all the content before they released something else. Look everyone wants to be a superstar but noone wants to do what superstars do! This good guy ethic seems like a scam for more money to me.
OOO what about all them perty lil dragons you can buy for real world money! Awe many I sure would like to get that perty lil pink unicorn that shits out rainbows when it flies. Here take my 5 dollars. NOW I'M SO COOL. Since when did they get so obsessed, over shit like this? Oh this mount looks awesome... yea, it does, I hope it was worth 5$.
This good guy thing is looking less and less good to me. I bet the reason they don't want a vanilla server, is because they can't make money off it. They know that every medium to hardcore player who wants to either experience it again or who have never experienced it would be in fact, on this server. The only ones left would be the fan boys and their pokemon buddies.
It actually interesting if you think about the hypocrasy. They cry for new content, yet... they claim it takes too much time. If they had legacy servers you could never complain about not having content, because you could just go to the legacy server re-experiencing or experience new content. You could have a main on that server during your downtime. Blizzard probably can't release content fast enough these days before they start complaining. The answer to the problem is legacy servers but like I said, they can't make tons of money off it.
