Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I think now the bar has been raised so high by Nostalrius that what comes after will never be the same again. No matter what time of the day or night it was, Nost was always booming with activity. I've tried other private servers and stepping into Orgrimmar / Ironforge on them after being in Org / IF on Nost feels like a huge disappointment.

I googled Rebirth and the first thing I see is some post about tweaking the cost of things and I kind of sighed and closed the tab.

Nothing will be the same. Nostalrius was epic and it's going to take a while for Vanilla to recover. Quality servers but it will take some time before we see another 12k pop server.

Well. Chocolate doesn't taste as sweet. Fear The Walking Dead doesn't seem as good. Even my dogs' breath seems to smell more. No, nothing will ever be the same.

you are totally right. it will be very difficult for any other private server to come close to nosts quality, popularity and policy-ideals.
im sure blizzard could do that with ease, but other private servers.... good fcking luck.
