Some good Blizzard did do...

I played WoW during beta with my little brother and even to this day (we haven't been subbed since Cata) we talk about how much fun we had in Vanilla and had been itching to play it again. We constantly watched PatPvP, Beckon (PvPriest), Drakedog and others reliving the glory days.
We had looked at Vanilla servers years and years ago but they were highly unplayable. They lagged like crazy and crashed all the time so we gave up.
Then Blizzard announced that they're suing Nostalrius and opened my eyes to a scene I had zero idea existed. The vibrance of this community, how many active players there are, a dedicated team that has been likened to actual Blizzard support. I am only disappointed that this came to light due to the fact that it is going away.
What it has done though is received another very active member. I have joined the forums, the FB page, and the subreddit and am anxiously awaiting the announcement from the Nostralrius team as to which server they are releasing their code to (and hopefully joining). With support from JonTron and, without a doubt others as they see the popularity of his video and make them as well, I'm sure there are many others like me who will flock to whatever server pops up.
So thank you Nostralrius. I only wish I had discovered you sooner but I'm looking forward to adventuring with you in the future.
