Nostalrius did many things right but can also learn from the mistakes for whatever the future holds.
1. It needs to absolutely stay away from the US and EU.
2. Stay more anonymous.
3. Perhaps changing hosts frequently. (easier said than done, I get it)
Sure, this takes huge effort. The management of the teams on Nost were amazing but I think this is one area that needs to be done right from the start.
The leaders - Daemon, Viper, Nano, Tyrael, and other staff did great work here. These are passionate individuals that spent many years working on this project only to end off at patch 1.8 on the PvP Realm, a PvE Realm, and a TBC Realm in early stages of development.
"We will still be there in the background if you want us to, but will no longer take the lead." -Nostalrius Team
I want these guys in the background even if they don't take the lead. However, the professionalism they had was outstanding. I'm hopeful something will happen. There hasn't been a server such as this EVER and I hope the project can continue on in some form with same professionalism as this staff.
