If you look at their track record this is very different behavior from the norm in which they'd dump a feature that didn't pan out rather than iterate and perfect it.
Just because something doesn't initially work out doesn't mean every incarnation will be the same. I don't play retail and I don't plan to, but I don't think it's fair to put a negative spin on everything just because you're upset.

I also see it as good news tho. let them run their garbage product all the way into the ground. it will just be too bad when the last few million players left continue to spend shitloads of money on game time tokens and tcg mounts. who honestly knows what a good business decision is with these idiots making up a new audience to market games to
