How to Persuade Blizzard to Cease Legal Action.

The sole purpose of this thread is to submit reasonable, practical, and well planned ideas to the best of our ability for how to persuade Blizzard to cease all legal action against the Nostalrius staff and hosting provider.

My proposal:

- Ask Mike Morhaime to start a kickstarter for $150,000, which is double the number of petitions ($2 per person math is hrad).
- If the kickstarter succeeds, then they agree to cease all legal action against Nostalrius in writing for now and indefinitely, as long as Nostalrius agree's to their terms if reasonable. Terms include permission to run the server with vanilla and TBC any way they like. Nostalrius staff and Blizzard can work that out, if willing, and thank you.

We all love vanilla, and especially playing with friends. Blizzard enabled that by developing World of Warcraft. So we should be thankful. But I already bought the game, and "they" shut it down because money motivates "them" more than the enjoyment of playing the game. Despite that, i'm willing to pay another $2, or even $10, to have Nostalrius back. And if they wan't live to be better, then they should L2P and make it better.

So will they accept our $150,000 and more to let us play the game they made, without losing anything and gaining our support? Or do they show their greed by refusing it?

What do you think? I'm also willing to compensate Nostalrius staff since we shouldn't overlook the unimaginable amount of work they do so we can enjoy their server.

We can't get this guy to respond to anything. He has more money than any human being can imagine. He has no reason to care about anything in this life, let alone some players who like an older video game.

Yeah 150k is nothing to him you're right. And I don't know the legality of doing that. But the argument for us is that we refuse live anyway and its an effortless $200,000 easy even with salt. Unless they improve the game. I don't care how much you make though that's still alot of money lol.
