I wanted to throw my 2 cents in with all the others sharing their in game footage of THE END...... until I watched the finished version of the video.
The Nostalius name and recreation of content was created by the developers here, World Of Warcraft and it's story were created by Blizzard Entertainment. Both of these are contributing factors to what started this project and drew people in but the community is what made the server the most popular private server of all times. For me to share only my view or experience wouldn’t accurately portray the Community that made this server what it was.
With that in mind I opted for a different approach that would address the feelings and experience of what the Community experienced server wide in the final hours of Nostalius. It took a lot of effort from the developers, testers and Gm’s to make the server operate as smoothly as it did and for that I can never express enough thanks. The Community opened my eyes and showed me that the game I loved….. all those years ago were not just thoughts of nostalgia through rose tinted glasses but in fact a reality that could still be recreated today.
I’d like to express sincere thank you to everyone that was a part of this server both in game and behind the scene that took part in making this the best World Of Warcraft experience one could ever hope for.
