Making their data public would suck. Imo it would be best if they found someone who has the skills and the capability to continue the project. Giving it to every random programmer who has basic programming skills will suck as multiple half ass servers will start popping up tarnishing the Nostalrius brand and legacy.

that's bs. even if there will popping a million servers from their code the people would go to the most professional one with a dedicated dev/support team

instead it would actually show that aren't interested in "being community-driven in the truest sense of the word" if they don't release the data (some day)

he and his team published all their stuff for everyone. so there were alot vanilla servers but still (almost) everyone came here to nostalrius because like i said: most advanced team

How about they are likely dealing with blizzard through lawyers? You/we have no idea what kind of conversations all lawyers involved are having. Imo, at this point it would be very "blizzlike" to force the nost team to destroy everything to avoid getting sued to oblivion. I am hopefull that we will see our personal in game progress again, but also being real about it.
