Would you guys want a multi-core repack?

Hello everyone! I forgot the info to my original account, so I signed back up to ask you guys if you would be interested in a multi-core repack that I created a good while ago? I would obviously update it to the latest core versions before releasing.

What this repack would contain is pre-compiled and pre-configured binaries for Vanilla, TBC and WoTLK, as well as the respective databases and a portable MySQL server. It also has a control panel as shown below. I would most likely keep it updated on a regular basis as well depending on the interest.

The standard configuration would be for local play.

To be clear, the repack would NOT contain any data files, this would have to be extracted yourself. For legal reasons, obviously.

Due to the topic having to be approved, it fell pretty far down the list, so bumping it to the top :)

Yeah, let's all host our own server so we can have vanilla with garrisons!
(Why??)

It would literally be your own local server that you could run on your own computer, log into and play on. It would be pre-configured so you would not have to deal with compiling, configuring or anything. Simply open the control panel, click the button, log in. :P

I could actually make good use of that

It would just be for creating your own offline vanilla private server. Its not going to be perfect but you will be free to do as you wish(GM). Basically skips the long setup process for new people. But if you're looking to learn compile the source yourself.

Very correct :) Due to the nature of the population (By this I mean no offense) most likely not being well versed within the emulation scene, it would be an option for those simply wanting to play around and mess with the different expansions, without having to go through the full setup process themselves.

Could you post a link for the download and a guide? Thanks :)

This looks very cool.....what is it? :)

Someone seemed to suggest (by saying garrisons in vanilla) that it would somehow allow mix and matching of elements from different expansions. Surely that isn't true? (If something seems to good to be true, it almost always is)

A vanilla server with every dungeon and raid ever made tuned down to level 60 damage and hp levels has always been my #1 wet wow dream. But I always assumed that would require a complete custom made client + server.
