"I can picture if Blizz gave back the vanilla version - I believe the forums would rage unlike anything we've ever seen in the last many years.
The version where it took forever getting anywhere, where there was no transmog, where bags were full carrying reagents you needed, where it took forever to get to end game (leveling), where everything was clunky and out-balanced (**disclaimer** all of this only from what i've read repeatedly about it in old posts)."
