So those fucking DDoS attacks happened and now the whole /r/games is blaming Nostalrius for it.
Such a pathetic commenters too, they downvote anything that is pro Nost, and by reading the comments, you can get a feeling that the games aren't made for gamers anymore.

Apparently now, the games are made BY BUSINESSMEN FOR BUSINESSMEN. Because that's all that matters.

This can actually be more related to a lot of bans in Diablo 3 S5 top leaderboards. They banned a lot of bots and even a twitch streamer. I logged in D3 a few hours ago and ppl on chat there were sure it's about that.

It kind of is..you know all the hype before game releases? They don't only hype gamers but Investors I.e stock investors. "When this game is released the stock value is gonna rise by at least 15%!!! Buy now!!!

"Here's a diagram of how many people that preordered" I.e the prorder purchase already DID increase stock value. Buy more before the game is released, after that it will only increase forever and ever and more!

You can replace stock with "game popularity"

Lmao why would the company or investors aggressively look to sell in a period where they project a rise in stock value? That's literally like giving money away.
