US and EU official forums.

On every thread about nost/legacy servers u get like 15-20 posts about how it is illegal and thread gets deleted in a 10 minutes. On the other hand there were some solid discussions at the EU forums. This is like two separate communites. Are americans laws about piracy that cruel so people loose all stances and aren't willing to fight for their consumer's rights?
