Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I didn't expect such an ending for this beautiful project, when my eyes were seeing all those unreal population numbers i was getting goosebumps.
I started off playing on feenix back in 2011~2012 which i stayed for quite a long time, can't deny that it was a buggy project but there weren't any other alternatives with high population.
After quite sometime i had to quit because of irl, then a new server came out which was called Scriptcraft that was created by an american named Gummy52, i started to play there casually and i fell in love with how blizzlike it was, the community was so hyped, after sometime it shutdown because of DMCA since it was hosted inside Unites States, i had quit before that happened though.
After sometime i learned that the database of scriptcraft was merged with Valkyrie WoW (russian) i got my character transfered there, i gave it a shot but the population was 80% cyka blyat (russians) but i didn't mind since i know how to speak russian.
I kept playing it, but the population was nothing like scriptcraft or feenix which made me sad and i quit, that was it for vanilla 1.12 wow for me, i was dissapointed spending my time gearing up pre raid getting all the bis stuff then the servers getting shut down, i was gone from wow for quite sometime, i even returned at some point on retail, which was a huge dissapointment considering what garbage it has become.
When i heard about this server i got so hyped to start, i leveled with passion just like the very first days on 2004~2005, got all my bis gear, i even farmed felstriker and ironfoe! can you imagine doing 140 ubrs runs for a damn dagger? well i did! and you know what? i don't regret doing it!
Good things in life are hard to find.

Unfortunatelly World of Warcraft​ died with Nostalrius for me, i no longer have the strenght to gear up from scratch, been there, done that more than enough times for a normal person is able to handle, and retail WoW died from the action that has taken towards a non profit server such as Nostalrius - WoW Vanilla​.

Don't be sad because it ended, be glad it happened!

Despite the fact that feenix felt indeed buggy as hell after playing on Nostalrius, i really enjoyed my time on feenix aswell. As you already said, feenix was the only alternative back then and it wasnt so bad tbh. Right when aq came out, the warsong server was really nice and populated. I too played there from 2011 till around 2014 and then Nost came. And seeing all those other projects right now i have to say that there wont be any better than Nostalrius before WoW will die completely.

Anybody here remembers Drakon Pugs on feenix? I was always stunned how many ppl he would gather around in IF but thats nothing compared to a simple Onxia buff on Nost
