A week ago I requested a refund, and CSR refunded my preorder. Now it looks like they've put a moratorium on cancelling preorders. This seems very shady.

why cancel?

Illegal, possibly, too?

Everyone is allowed a refund on a product that hasn't yet been delivered, that's a cornerstone of commercial law. Nice to see the company of the copyright defence engage in stall tactics that border illegality so closely.

I'm fairly sure that in the UK yes, this is illegal, according to the Consumer Rights Act. I think something about being able to get a refund if a product isn't up to expectations?

Not sure about elsewhere, though.

Use the bank to cancel the order and let the bank and blizzard deal with it. It will take months but it will tie them up and cost them more than a refund.

Looks like you bought a bundled package, used part of the content, and are asking for a refund for part of the package (Legion) that you didn't use? Geez, c'mon guy.

BTW, who preorders Bliz expansions after what they did with WoD and the lack of content?

I don't get this either, people complain all the fucking time about Blizzard and WoW (and other companies), but they still preorder every expansion that comes out. This behaviour is why gaming companies get away with this shit. How about putting your money where your mouth is, which is not in Blizzard's pockets.

I believe even if its bundle and he partially used they can separate legion and refund his money back. And they are denying it because of 30 days refund policy not its because bundle.
